OAO Atomenergomash signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Windlife for future development of the 200 MW wind park in Murmansk Oblast

AOA Atomenergomash (AEM), a subsidiary of the Russian state company Rosatom, has signed a MoU with Windlife in which AEM will acquire 51% of the shares of a newly to be formed Russian company, which shall act as the owning and operating entity of the 200 MW wind park. Both companies expect to sign a formal shareholder agreement at the end of September 2011. Paul Logchies from Windlife Energy BV will be the designated person to lead the new company and to finalize the installation. This project constitutes the first large scale development for AEM, which company announced in December 2010 to start a wind division.
